Abstract
Atlantic salmon from the North Esk River (Scotland) have been studied in July 1984. This sample, in majority grilse, has permitted us to show 2 sexual dimorphisms : the relative length of the adipose fin and the one of the upper jaw bone. Only this last one can be used in practice with lessthan 10 % of error.
